How To Join Our Troop

Joining Requirements

If a boy is a Webelos Cub Scout and has completed his Arrow of Light (AOL) Award he is eligable to join Boy Scouts before his 11th Birthday or before finishing the 5th grade.

If a boy isn't a Cub Scout with the AOL then he must complete the 5th grade or be 11 years old, but must be under 18 years old to join Boy Scouts. Boy Scouts are basically for boys between the ages of 11 and 17. After their 18th birthday a boy can become a Boy Scout Leader.

A boy and his parent/guardian can simply stop by our meeting place and talk to one of our Scout Leaders. They'll tell you what Scouting is all about and give you a short form to fill out. You can view information on when and where we meet by clicking HERE.

Adults, if you were a Scout as a youth and you'd like to get back into Scouting you're always welcome to pay us a visit. We'd gladly welcome any help you can offer. You don't need to have a son in the Boy Scout program to be involved. All you need is the desire to work with boys and to teach them about the great outdoors, to help them develop character and become good citizens.
